About the Urban Ash:
Taylor sources this wood through their urban wood initiative — reclaiming ash trees removed from city environments that would otherwise go to waste. Each guitar carries a distinct grain pattern and a story worth telling. Tonally, Urban Ash is bright and articulate with solid mid-range presence, comparable in many ways to maple but with its own character.
The shorter scale and compact body make this one of the most comfortable acoustics Taylor builds, and V-Class bracing ensures it punches well above its size in projection and intonation.
Condition:
Mint. This guitar is in exceptional shape with virtually no signs of play. There are a few very light pick scratches on the top that are too minor to show up in photos — the kind you'd only notice at the right angle in direct light. No dings, dents, cracks, or finish issues of any kind. Frets show no wear. Plays and sounds exactly as it did the day it left the factory. See pics for condition. Comes with original case.
