The MTM20 is a solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2014. It is a signature model of Mick Thomson, lead guitarist for the American band Slipknot and part of the MTM series. It is essentially the successor to the MTM2 which was discontinued after 2011. It was produced in Indonesia.
The MTM20 features a mahogany RG-style body bolted to a maple and walnut Wizard III neck with a reversed headstock and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with binding and special "Seven" inlays. Components include a pair of Seymour Duncan designed active humbucking pickups, an FX Edge III fixed bridge with fine tuners and a locking nut.
The MTM20 was discontinued in 2016 when Thomson left Ibanez to endorse Jackson guitars.
