1988 Gibson WRC – Wayne Richard Charvel Signature | Vintage White | USA | Kahler | EMG
This is one of the rarest and most interesting superstrats Gibson ever produced — a 1988 Gibson WRC, the fruit of Gibson's collaboration with Wayne Richard Charvel, the man who founded Charvel guitars. The WRC was built in extremely limited numbers, possibly as few as 200, making this a legitimate piece of guitar history.
Fitted with a Kahler locking tremolo, EMG active pickups, 24-fret ebony board, and full black hardware on a Vintage White body — this thing looks as mean as it plays. Wayne Charvel knew how to build a shredder, and having Gibson's Nashville factory behind him didn't hurt.
Serial number 82888731 dates this to October 1988. The WRC signature is right there on the headstock.
