This guitar is in great condition for being 45 years old! SHe has definately been played but well taken care of. She has the normal small scratches and a couple of small dents but certainly no chips or cracks. See pics for condition. Shipped in HSC. Can has loose screws on latches but will protect during shipping.
The CY116 is a handcrafted classical guitar made in Kani, Gifu, Japan at Kazuo Yairi's workshop. Yairi guitars were imported to the US by St. Louis Music under the Alvarez brand. The CY116 was part of Yairi's Classical Series and was produced across several years — 1975 through at least the late 1980s/early 1990s. The 1981 examples are considered among the finest vintage Japanese classicals.
