Custom Built Warthog Guitar

It is Backroads Guitars great honor and privilege to offer for your consideration this one of a kind instrument, hand built here in Albuquerque, New Mexico by luthier Stacey Brown.

As a woodworker for over 50 years, Stacey brings a lifetime of experience and applies it to his passion of building the highest quality instruments possible. After retiring from the Air Force in 2017, he began building guitars in 2021 and completed an apprenticeship at Strat Academy in 2022 for guitar repair and setup.

Stacey's approach to the design of this instrument was to not only showcase the wood and materials, but to ensure that this instrument plays as perfectly with the best tone possible. Every single wood component was crafted by Stacey in his workshop.
